I did not know about this. That is freakin awesome. I just might have to try it out on my M&P 15-22. Use a Q-tip to remove for a color change?

If I didn't have to get up and be to work by 0630, or if I had discovered this thread earlier, I would be either doing this right now, or posting pictures.  I guess there's always tomorrow.   :(

I found that crayons don't make for as clean of an appearance as nail polish does...Then again, YMMV.  I highly suggest trying out the nail polish route.  Higher chance of your girlfriend/wife having some nail polish than a grown man having crayons lying around (not that me having crayons lying around does not make me a grown man).  ;D

Coat with LOTS of nail polish, then establish learning curve on how hard to rub with nail polish remover.  Repeat for anything you want to fill in.

Anyone that uses crayons can get a cleaner look using a hair dryer. Just fill, wipe away excess, then blow dry to melt the wax...it'll look more "finished".  :thumbsup:

I like the guy who did his tool socket set with crayons too.  Will try on my weapn and tools.
