We'll see if it gets inked into law.  Hopefully it won't.  Then again, it's New York.  Home of the soda ban, trans fat ban and pain killer rationing.

still trying to make sense of it all.  possession is a B felony, 25 years.  people saying well that's it, basically life in jail so might as well go down fighting.  also, the penalty for owning a semi-auto is harsher than owning a full auto so just convert.  meanwhile jughead is laughing along with all his friends, the enemies of the once great USA.

Fck You BHO.

Hirono Hanabusa Abercrombie Caldwell all of you - do not try this here.  We are the most peaceful state and we do not need any, I repeat, do not need any new gun laws or bans!

That's one way to get around any potential federal hiccups...states with liberal legislators just enact state bans and restrictions if they have the votes. Anything is possible in New York. May end up in court but they don't seem to care.

My union has lots of gun owners.  I never thought about this but ren is right.  Big labor unions are always are the big supporters for politicians.

I'm now more worried about the state than the Feds.   If Obama can't get an AWB ban through I see him urging states to take action themselves.

i would worry more if ANYONE in our legislature was talking about it.

Cuomo's only doing this because he has a national stage.  Aberzombie?  forget about it.

They will do it in solidarity for their comrades.  How could we, birthplace of Dear Leader, not fall in line, it's only common sense and hope and change.  Tie it to some funding bill, make it a couple thousand pages that you have to pass it to know what's in it and wham bam sham it's done.

Remember those tough discussions, the borg is coming for us.

The liberal anti-gun groups have put together the "Demand A Plan To End Gun Violence" campaign and over 800 mayors have signed on. They have dumped a ton of money in this effort and many celebrities have jumped on the bandwagon too. They have a website dedicated to the cause and I believe around 1M have already signed the petition.

The Hollywood Hypocrites who make millions off violent gun movies then turn around and then have the gall to lecture us on gun violence.

F them too.  Boycott!

call me when there's ANYTHING coming from our politicians.

face it, no one cares here, but us.  there isnt a public push, no one's talking about it, there are no articles being written on it, none of our politicians are talking about it, the only reason it hasnt blown over in NY is because Cuomo has realized this is the ONLY time people will pay attention to him over Bloomberg.

:(   its a sad day.     this is why we need everyone out there on saturday,  this is why everyone needs to write their reps.   this is why everyone needs to be member or nra, hra, hdf etc.
