The article mentions Operation Take Back America.

I wonder if they were tied in with the cartels or just a couple of dumb kids who got too greedy with their side hustle.

my guess is the Uzi is probably semi-auto.  but just the mention of Uzi strikes fear and hysteria into the hearts of gun-grabbers.  I watched a video of what it would take to convert the Uzi to full-happy, and you'd have to be an accomplished machinist and TIG-welder, it seemed.  Just my guess.  I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once.

the full-auto gun is the Glock with the switch.

That’s a relief. The less cartel activity the better.

… and the film above was made by DARPA, documenting the results of seven generations of lead-based paint chip ingestion, beginning with an initial population of Amish.

Top brass concluded that, though promising, as a weapon system, typical warfare scenarios were not quite so long-lived as to make it feasible.

Nevertheless, at the various trial sites (NY, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and of course Kalihi), its effects clearly continue to be devastating.

They were there to talk to dealers about suspicious buyers.
I told them they should hire my son as an investigator.

No, I referee high school sports in the spring season. Actually I could have come too since the storms cancelled the events.
