  Being oceanfront, I've been using Ospho for decades.
Problem is you need rust for it to work !   
Guess I'll have to sand down my glock uppers and leave them outside in the rain this weekend.

They sell a product here called ospho which is part phosphoric acid. The regular hardware stores should carry it.
