I'm gonna go check it out. Will results be posted that day or will they delay voting?

Just got this from the Public Access Room emailing list. They are a great resource for our questions regarding things like Fridays conference meeting for SB69.  The staff is very friendly, nonjudgmental on requests for help, and know "the process" very well.   This is a great resource for us.

It’s Conference Time!

Our Senators and Representatives have begun meeting with each other to come up with the final form of bills to send off to the governor. Here are a few resources to help make it easier to follow things during conference.

·         The Public Access Room has a new information sheet that provides an overview to conference. It’s creatively titled, “Conference Committee Information,” and can be found on the Information Sheets page of our website (http://hawaii.gov/lrb/par).

·         The Legislature’s webmasters have set you up with a great “Conference Committees” page. From the homepage (www.capitol.hawaii.gov) click on “Reports and Lists” and then select “Conference Committees” from the bars on your left. You’ll find easy links to help find conference notices, action sheets and conferees.

·         View the “2013 Joint Conference Procedures” — they can be found by clicking on the “Legislative Information” link on the right‐hand side of the homepage.

As always, contact the Public Access Room (PAR) if you have questions or would like additional information. We’re happy to help you out!

Does anyone know how come this keeps getting deferred and rescheduled? Not like I don't trust our legislators and what they may be capable of adding, as if the bill isn't bad enough already.

Anyone have any suggestion on a good apparel to wear when showing up to one of these meetings?

No I won't be wearing anything HRA for this one.

I was thinking that I should get an NRA cap...  Or maybe a "Don't tread on me" shirt.  Hopefully we can all show up in force during the hearing of these anti-gun bills.

Suggestions?
