most of America is living good in relation to other parts of the world. With that said, we can't see 12 inches ahead of us. What I mean is that we are in a comfortable cocoon of security and all the luxuries and freedoms it affords us. Family. Taking kids to games, schools etc. Nice houses and cars. Why should you worry about other countries and their long term effects on the US?? Do you have the capacity or interest to understand events/ history in other parts of the world? Who cares? Iran wants to destroy America. OK. I still take my kids to school tomorrow and plan for their college. What am I or my wife going to cook for dinner tonight? Shall we get takeout? Maybe if I'm too tired from work....
Average Americans in general are very short-sighted.

The parents and families of the 120 schoolchildren, 36 adults, 1 unborn child, all killed by the US and Israel double tap missile strike, were probably also thinking what's for dinner tonight.  My bet is none of them were thinking "Death to America" when the missiles struck.

By the way, there were 95 injured in that attack.  Wouldn't surprise me that is what they are thinking now.

Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

This video is a good analysis of why the elections went so wrong.  Should've come out a year ago.

It's about how Trump didn't keep his promises of no new wars, ability to buy a home, better economy, etc and that groups that swung Trump in 2024, young voters and hispanics, drastically swung Democrat.  Trump didn't listen to the people's needs like he successfully did in his first term.   Growing the economy and lowering the cost of living should've been the main focus for Trump, but instead it was the Iran war, reflecting pool, ballroom, Gulf of America, etc that showed Trump wasn't listening to what people needed.  Most people side with him on a lot of the social issues and immigration crackdown, but the state of the economy eclipses those greatly.

The war and resulting economic dive were the biggest factors.  Economy is always by far the biggest decider of elections.  I do business research and talk to hundreds of business owners every month.  They all put inflation problems above everything else.  The tax cuts don't offset the inflation.  Both in the cost of products and equipment that squeezes their margins and expenses, and also affecting their customers ability to buy their products and services.  Even hard core Trump supporters have big gripes about that.

Then there is the chaos.  Too many things happening too quickly.  Most people agree there should be a lot of government cuts, but instantly firing workers is not a good look.  The immigration crackdown is widely supported, however the way it was done was unpopular.  I think bombing the Iran nuclear sites was justified, however the war didn't have to happen before the midterms and it was bungled.  Trump would get the credit if it was successful, however he also gets the blame if it fails.

Elections have consequences. Billions of dollars will flow into the wrong hands, foreign and domestic.
Democrat NGO's will be enriched and they will launder the money back to their benefactors.
This Canadian gets it.

I'm mainly concerned with the long term and possibly permanent effects.  They could make Puerto Rico and Guam states which gives Democrats 4 Senate seats and 4 electoral votes making it harder to win the Presidency and control the Senate, and in turn SCOTUS seats, into the future.  Texas becoming blue would almost guarantee a Democrat president into the future.  And through Alito and tlThomas replacements or packing SCOTUS, it would be the first liberal SCOTUS majority since 1972 and erase our 2a wins.

Don’t think anyone knows what to say here.

Can certainly emphasize, but being born in the 60’s, all I can say is that this war is more of a marathon, not a 100 yard dash.

Have a few drinks bro - we’ll make it.

No one’s backing down from the fight.

Taker easy - have a good day tomorrow.

Yes, your points regarding the risks to the Supreme Court are deeply concerning given the strategic timing of all this - very bad.

The court’s composition is already perilous going into it.

It is a certainty that if they can get a reversal of the court’s 2A positions through, which state you are in will decide whether you have actual 2A rights or not.

Hawaii will obviously move immediately to void them here.

Americans will really have to consider dealing with a “war between the states” reality - and that will make continued residence here highly inadvisable.

Seriously bad strategic timing for us.

Bears extremely close watching…

the midterms were all about short term effects that the average American will not tolerate. Like I said most of us can't see 12 inches in front of us, thus we have Minnesota's demographics dramatically changing. We will never lear from that. As long as we have our iPhones, TikToks, lifted trucks.
America's future is lost to assimilation from other countries. We gave a little compassion and they took all of it and then some. We won't lear till it's too late. Then we will have learing centers all over the place and have adults who will only know certain alphabets maybe 7 out of the original 26? I remember Bill Cosby tried this in the 80s..J-E-L-L-O....

We hate each other so much it's not just a bipartisan struggle for power. Let's not forget our POTUS was shot at, arrested and they continue to threaten him. We have one side they says our country sucks. Some people piled on this. Our adversaries saw this as well and poured 1000 octane gas on the spark.
Republicans. Democrats. We should all be Americans First instead of a power struggle akin to full contact, MMA style musical chairs.

The numbers are statistically impossible. Just like in Brazil tens of millions of voters suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

There is speculation that this is a trap set by Trump to make the Dems overstep so that he can drop the hammer somehow. I hope so.

Otherwise it means the rise of true American fascism that would make Trump look like Jimmy Carter

I dunno.

Tragically, we have one political party now which at all costs is committed to overthrowing the founding of our country and turning us into the UK, i.e. complete destruction.

On the other hand, we have an "opposition political party" which is so derelict in its opposition as to be fully complicit.

And then you have the American people seemingly held captive by this political construct.  They want America, they'll fight for America. They demand the liberty our founding guarantees.  They are the majority of the country: Almost 80 million people voted in 2024 in a landslide for Trump, principally I believe, to halt the illegal invasion of our country coordinated by that treasonous party.

They anti-totalitarian.

They are anti-racist.

They demand the just application of just law.

They demand the government stay in its own lane under the constitution.

They demand the right to defend themselves against all comers.

They are every race, creed and demographic.

There will be a reckoning, as we are facing a globalist-led pseudo-marxist (- that gets the drones engaged) coordinated counter revolution to our founding AND IT WILL NOT STOP UNTIL IT IS STOPPED.

So I don't believe this boils down to just a difference of opinion about how to run the county - how I wish it was.

This is existential.

this mid-term go-round does not bode well for 2028.

but on the other hand, the demwits are still struggling to find an electable candidate.  Maybe they should just re-run Kamala?  I'm sure she would agree.  And then there's always Killary.  Is Newsom electable?  IMHO, not, too much stupidity, as in AOC.  But then, that seems to be their prerequisite, helps to relate to their voter base.

Texas:  I'm wondering if they committed the "import blue state people, become blue state", with all their california imports, courting the high-tech industries and businesses, and now those commiefornians are voting blue.  The chickens came home to roost.  The incoming new TX governor, Gina Hinojosa, is promising to take Elon Musk, Tesla to tax-hell.  talk about killing the goose that laid the golden egg, what not.  Texas voters really let the genie out of the bottle this time.

Cheer Up Everyone! - The Threat is Over! - The Party of Satan Has Revealed It's Victory Strategy:

Incessant, Shrieking Lawfare - The Exact Strategy They Used to Get Trump Re-Elected!

"The second Democrats take control, the first thing they’re going to focus on isn’t going to be affordability, it’s lawfare:

“We will not hesitate to go after private corporations that are collaborating with Donald Trump.“

"We've done it before and we'll do it again!"

https://x.com/bennyjohnson/status/2118449296161001581?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2118449296161001581%7Ctwgr%5E713143ea358c1764c9c4f42c644cf771e87a15ef%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fpolitical%2Fnext-chapter-chaos-coming-look-france-americas-left-already-telegraphs-their-plan

For all you shitheads who voted for them 'cause "my affordability," their message to you is the same as their message to the country during their COVID tyranny:

Fuck Your Affordability

https://x.com/SenatorBanks/status/2118059844674695559?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2118059844674695559%7Ctwgr%5E713143ea358c1764c9c4f42c644cf771e87a15ef%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fpolitical%2Fnext-chapter-chaos-coming-look-france-americas-left-already-telegraphs-their-plan

So just sit back, put on your earphones, and listen to some awesome music, while the Party of Satan sits down cross-legged in the street, pours a jerry can of gasoline over its head, and sets itself on fire.

Tues night and all day Wednesday when it looks like the blue tsunami was going to become a reality:  The democrats were harping that they cannot blow this precious victory and that they should focus on the country and its ills and broken infrastructure.

They said we should focus on fixing America: it's in-affordability, healthcare problems, housing, interest rates, price for fuel, food, etc.

This was all dayt Wednesday, spilling into Thursday.

By Saturday the rhetoric has changed to LAWFARE, PROSECUTION, IMPEACHMENT, INVESTIGATIONS FOR CORRUPTION, DESTROY TRUMP, DESTROY TRUMP, DESTROY TRUMP!!!!!

Fuck the country...... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) :wtf:
