JUST AN UPDATE.....  nobody gives a hoot except us on this forum.   The closest gun shop to me said "the nra is taking care of it, they may be illegal tomorrow but they're not today". The other gun shop hadn't heard about it.  I explained it and asked if there was any organization against it.  "We're just going to keep selling until they send us a letter saying they're illegal". WE ON THIS FORUM ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CARE!!  50 or less gun owners up against the state legislature.   Truly an eye opening experience for me.

I explained the no grandfathering of "assault weapons".   No real urgency or care on his behalf at all.

The vast majority of people that I shoot with or volunteer with at HRA and LIFE are not on here. I just hope to see many of them, and you guys, at noon tomorrow!

If tomorrow is as packed as on Sundays at Kokohead we will be in good company and ideally everyone should be a member of NRA at least. But from my observations and experiences, more are just casual shooters who wouldn't flinch to turn in their guns IF there was a period to turn them in (confiscation  )

Wait,, you are not the only ones.there are a lot ofpeople on the nieghbor islands feel the same as you.  Its just we live on different islands. Its not like we give a hoots ass what's going on. We have it harder than you on Oahu, you have the state capital, lgs a decent range, a lot more everything. So dont think your alone.I we feel alone we have no rep we have no range but the funny part is, we have more firearms owners than hunters. By the way I live on Kaua, if that helps. I need a few people that I can call on to do minor tasks - if you can help (most should be no more than 2-3 hours a piece).   I'm only one guy.  I currently have *two* people willing to assist on various projects and they are tasked out, so we need more hands.

1.) I need someone to make a break down of the law, kind of synopsis of worse parts that would fit in a few paragraphs on a web page.
