This rally would also be a good place to spread the word about 2ahawaii dont you think? We should mention it to whoever we talk with there.  If you have a 2a shirt you should wear it and maybe we could even sell some shirts there.

I also hand out stickers and I tell everyone about 2ahawaii,  facebook, emails etc.      most firearm owners haven't even heard about 2a.

sb932 is also scheduled to be heard this day.  perhaps after we all waive signs we can all make it to the hearing to submit testimony.
the hearing starts at 135pm in room 229
hopefully everyone that makes it out to waive signs can also make it to the hearing.  this is truly the way to get our message heard.

I will do my very best to be there, at minimum I will drive past several times and honk in support of 2A and all of you.  It's really tough for me to get away from work, and my truck is too big to find parking around there.

Sorry to be a bother but Hawaii requires a permit for events with more than 25 people otherwise they consider it an unlawful assembly.  Did someone get a permit for this.  I'd rather not be arrested tomorrow.

if you stay on the sidewalk and don't block it,  you can be there.   look up the aclu's website. I saw it there last rally before we had the permit.

yeah, if I had known that there was this little commitment, I'd have taken off a little later in the day and testified in person.  i thought that this way, participating in the rally and emailing in testimony, I could make a larger impact.  Looks like I learned something today!

Do not be discouraged.  Post the pics, every single person made the effort to show up!  My count was 13 including Sandra + her friends that were sitting down.  It was scheduled for 10-noon so no fouls there and luckily for me no parking ticket

Afterwards, I ran into a Father and his daughter from Eugene, OR at Iolani Palace and we spoke at length about the anti-gun legislation.  Just because he saw a sticker on my heap.  2A supporters are out there my friends.  So keep it up no matter how big or small the effort - IT COUNTS.

You can't just wing getting a bunch of people out there.  You also have protest burnout to deal with. Not to mention the weekday issues.
