Here is a link to her bill, SB150 AWB of 2013.

http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CREC-2013-01-24/pdf/CREC-2013-01-24.pdf

SB150 begins on p56, col 3. Notable is that Schatz is a co-sponsor (p57, col 1).

"I do not intend to sit by while these killings continue. That is why today I am joining with my colleagues Senators SCHUMER, DURBIN, WHITEHOUSE,
BLUMENTHAL, LEVIN, ROCKEFELLER, MIKULSKI, BOXER, REED, LAUTENBERG, MENENDEZ, CARDIN, GILLIBRAND, SCHATZ, MURPHY, and WARREN to introduce
legislation to prohibit the sale, transfer, manufacture, and importation of assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices that can accept more than 10 rounds."

Also, note Feinstein's quote on p59, col 1.

"Put simply, we cannot allow the rights of a few to override the safety of all."

That flies in the face of a quote of a genuinely great American, Benjamin Franklin, who said "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

I see a few things in this already

Quote
3 ‘‘(46) The term ‘pistol grip’ means a grip, a thumb
4 hole stock, or any other characteristic that can function
5 as a grip.

Anything that can function as a grip? The normal part of the stock of a rifle serves as a grip.

Also from first glance, it looks like it would ban >10 round magazines from anyone except for LEOs, retired LEOs, and "Campus Police." Looks to me like private security would not be able to have them either.

Looks like it even lacks Democratic support in the Senate.  Nice.

Good, maybe if this doesnt pass, Feinstein will sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up.

This will be political suicide for them. That is why the bill never passes. I can't stand how they are using the deaths to gain political prowess.I pray that America still has at least some common sense left in it. (Not the common sense they talk about, I mean REAL WORLD common sense)   Now, this state is a whole different story.   I think that we all MUST concentrate our energy to kill ANY new gun control here, and at the same time push for reform of current laws such as repeal of registration and installing CCW.
