How many of members here, were there today?  I was surprised, at how cool, and down to earth everyone was.  I had a blast, shooting the gongs!  Although it was windy it never rained, and the overcast, helped keep the weather cool, all day.  I'm gonna make it a priority, to show up, at all future fun shoots.  Thanks Daniel, and the rest of the HRA, for throwing the event.

Good one!  Actually I've met some gun people, that have this "I'm better that everyone else" attitude.  I didn't meet a single person today, that threw that vibe.  They were down to talk, and help the new people.

Its always a fun day with HRA, good people great friends.  It was a blast!   

I was there.  There are a few others that were there today that are members here as well, but some of them rarely post. 

It was good turn out and glad to hear people had fun at the event.  As mentioned at the HRA annual meeting, we need a big time response in opposition of key legislation for additional gun control, repeal of the NRA limitation of liability law, and others mentioned by Dr. Max Cooper.  There are also some bills that will need our support as well, like the shall issue concealed carry bill.   

I was there! Had a great time (as always!). I never get tired of the contests Daniel comes up with!

You won't get that at HRA/LIFE events, at least not from the regulars.  I haven't been with HRA/LIFE that long, but I've been coming out regularly over the last couple of years and all of the regulars are really good people.  I've gotten to know many of them pretty well and they were all very welcoming when I was first getting involved.

I wasn't planning on shooting much yesterday and was there mainly to help out.  So when the first series of water bottles went out, I had not even uncased my rifle.  By the time I got my rifle out and loaded, all of the water bottles from the first set were gone!  All those guys with 22s were way too quick!

I attended a dear friend's memorial that day.  I'm sure he'd had rathered me go to the range, but I really needed to go for a final goodbye.
