« on: August 31, 2010, 08:33:58 PM »
I been searching high and low for stripier clips for the 03.  I'm guess that there should be a company that makes repoductions.   Does anyone know on island or on the internet that do sale these stripier clips?

The gun show is coming up in October, you can usually find them there.  eBay has several auctions listing 1903 stripper clips.  As far as new manufacture, I haven't come across any yet, but I haven't really been looking either.  I'll keep my eyes peeled!

You guys are going to Love me.

I gave Away those clips and M-1 Garand clips by the shoe box full years ago.

Even gave away a 20mm ammo can FULL of once fired 45 acp brass.  Took 2 big guys to haul it off.

I still have 30-06 ammo from WWII, boxes are falling apart.

Wife and my estate gun sale guy is getting one me to "cull" the herd of multiplying guns.

PS:  Years before I got Married, I HAD a nice small collection of 03s and M-1s.

The BEST of each manufacturor, NRA Excellent.

At that time looked like we were going to loose our gun rights so I Sold them ALL, for a good price
        back them.  Chump change today.

Even had and sold a Satin Nickle AR-15 made by Colt.  One of 2 brought into Hawaii.  Very limited
production item.  Also had one of the very First of the shorty ARs, among other toys....

Really want to get your panties wet?  I am aware of a guy Older than me with major health problems
who has an Estimated 2 Matson freight containers of High Quality firearms and stuff.  His family is
getting on him to majorly Down Size.  Nope, he keeps buying.....  Yes, he has lots of $.

Tom,  Yep, New(no box) UNfired with a bunch of accessories.  Got slapped upside the head when I told
the Wife, maybe I can Pre-Sell this pending my demise.  No way.  She knows exactly what I paid for it and
I keep her up dated on current market value.  When I go, it isn't going cheap.

FYI,  I brought 2 of them in.  My really good friend has the other.  He shoots it every now and then.  We just
never  made it to the range together with the 2 of them.

Yep, no fooling.

I have a friend who does Estate sales of us Older shooters and he trying like hell to get this guy to loosen
up and get rid of his collection.

He can Litterally FLOOD the gun market (nationally)  with what he has(or so I'm told)

Hell, I'm told that my small colletion would hurt local stores If I went to the big free range.

I tried selling on the other Hawaii forum til it got screwed up and messed me up.

I will Most likely start posting stuff I don't need or want here.  My Wife just "talked" to me again
    about it tonight.

Wants me to start transferring the "Good stuff" to her name.....

OT:  Colt Mustang.  Good Solid little Back Up Gun.  Needs a Good grip.  I like it.  No problems the few
times I shot it.  Used FMJ only(free stuff) never tried personal protection High End HP.  Been told,
accepts the new Sig 238 mags.

Reason for selling, between the Wife and I we have at least 5   380s.

She's getting on me to clean out stuff from the safe........

How about the PPK/S?  Snappy little shooter, too heavy for BUG.  I have had no problems with it.  Again, free FMJ.  Never tried HPs.

Make me a cash off I can't refuse.  I may even throw in a box of Free ammo, If I have any left.
