I am a citizen, and I vote. We do not want or need a gun buyback. [/i]

I wonder what kind of response Hawaii would have if we asked for a state wide vote?  Im sure there will be a lot of people that don't care ban or no ban that will not even vote. Perhaps a lot of people will not hassle to vote even if they agree with the ban.... But I'm sure we will have every gun owning person to push for killing the ban?!?  Would it be worth the risk???

My question is, if 90% of stolen firearms aren't recovered, why would we spend the $100k on a buyback instead of spending it on investigating the theft of firearms???   :wtf:

Thanx. I hadn't heard. Are they perhaps drumming up support so that it is not so lopsided again??
