don't watch 5-0 any more, but caught tonight's episode because it was supposed to be an homage to an original series episode
was fun to see the "local" characters trying to pronounce officer ookala's name
sometimes they said it differently in the same scene

reminded me of the first season (when i used to watch regularly)
they had a "Samoan" gang leader that alternated between saying SAH-moan and sum-moen
i know the actor was from the mainland, but now that i think of it, i'm not sure he was even SAH-moan
it was if he was being reminded in between takes how to say it, but they ended up editing the best shots and didn't care how it sounded

The way they portrayed Norm's Sport shop was funny but a little off. Danno seemed anti-gun.  The guns on the wall not what security sells! LoL. 

And the scene at hawaii national bank airport branch was so fast. Funny cpb is a sponsor of the show. And thay use hnb instead.

yeah, they portrayed "norm" as a typical gun nut store owner
especially when he tried to join in the gunfight with a a .22lr MP5 looking gun and said he is captain of the community watch

cpb is a local sponsor, so i don't know how much they have to say about locations
