Amazing is right!

Might be great for guns.  I could have used some of that goose hunting in the snow.  And once when it started raining while varmint hunting.

I wonder if it will affect the WD-40 market.  "WD" = "Water Displacement."  Fortieth formulation.

Actually, I'm curious as to how the concept (or the product itself)  might be applied to Dry Flies.  I wonder if the extra weight will make it sink, or will the water repulsion let your dry flies  float forever...
