I want this for my car as well.  I'd never have to wash it again!
you would still have to wash it bi-monthly :(

i havent heard of this particular brand yet but there have been kinda similar products for years. problem is pretty much all of the superhydrophobic coatings  get broken down by soaps and solvents even though they are abrasive resistant. even waterproof clothing that is soaked in these types of formulas lose their resiliency after a few washings. water will bead for a second or two then it will soak in. not to mention the one the OP posted is a 2 part system which always has more user error. neverwet isnt available to consumers yet but its superhydrophobic and comes in a simple 1 step aerosol.

there are automotive nano sealants that are more durable because they are bordering between hydrophobic and superhydrophobic and reinforced by linked nano polymers or silica. instead of 150 degrees they are usually between 110 and 120 degrees which seems to be a sweet spot for synthetic durability. traditional carnuba wax is about 80-90 degrees.

i personally use permanon platinum supershine, if anyone wants to try some out i can hook up 2a members with bulk dealer pricing since i use this for work. it breaks down to about $15 per 100ml versus ~$30 msrp. you dilute the concentrate 20:1, so 25ml of concentrate makes about 16oz of ready to use sealant. you use roughly 6-8oz on the paint, glass, wheels, jams, engine etc. you literally mist every exterior surface of the car and it lasts 8-18 months depending on if its garaged. 100ml will do about 10 cars. nice thing is its layerable so after initial application if you think its been parked outside too long give it a good washing and when the car is still damp mist permanon all over and dry it as usual. another years protection in 5 minutes

another tip for someone that mentioned wanting the product in the video on their shoes, kiwi's nano super protector works surprisingly well.

Good info, thanks!
