Happy to say atleast one shop in Hawaii has some integrity.  Kaneohe Gun Shop is advertising PMAGs for somewhat "normal" prices.

it could depend on who their distributor is too and at what price they purchase them at.  carter has been pretty honest with his pricing in regards to cost.

just another factor to consider

You also have to take into account the a$$holes that are either panic buying are planning to charge more than the store owners who have overhead and employees. OGC and xring have fair prices. Remember they can turn around and sell there shipments elsewhere and make more profit. I bought two 3rd gen p mags $28. Each. I got them because I wanted  the dot matrix so I could number the mags, my older mags I just use good old punch tape. I only bought two  as to see quality, I saw no need to buy there entire stock. It's not the store that's screwing us, it's other shooters. Look at the ammo prices and scarceness, greedy, panicked, selfish gun owners the type that give the whole sport and industries a bad name.

If anyone is offended or wants to say something to my face  my address is 1600 Pennsylvania ave, look for the big white house. Punks!

Ya just look at the new members here who only post in the classifieds at stupid prices and then vanish. They're just adding to the problem. Yet me and others who make colorful comments about it get bashed and/or moderated. The moderator editing keeps the peace but I really think the gougers have no place here. OGC has already stated that they raised their prices a little to discourage this price gouging behavior.

True, but I'll believe it when I see their invoice.  A honest owner would not bring in products at a inflated price just because he knows people are panicking and it'll sell.  If it is in fact the distributor, I'd find another because then the distributor is dishonest.  Maybe Magpul is lying too but they said repeatedly they have not raised their prices due to recent events.

OK.............regardless of the product being "X" dollars or "X + $ 250" OGC's % markup is still the same.

Carter's business model is still the same.  He brings in as much product as he can to get the best prices to in turn get those prices to us.  His business model is the change in the State.  Until him no one else did that and as a result no one's price (aside from Security's occassional low price on ammo) reflected that.

There is one person whom you can thank in the State for the low prices we see consistently and that's him.  I think it's a great disservice to say that he's jacking the prices up.  If you don't like his price, then don't buy.

If you feel he's not been forthcoming or he's been dishonest then by all means don't buy from him..........ever.............especially when the prices stabilize and go back down on certain items.

So what you're saying is that it would be more "honest" to not have any mags in stock that people are desparately looking for and can't get, than to get the stock from the available distributors/wholsalers/retailers that are charging a higher price ?

Magpul is back-ordered by tens of thousands of mags. I'm pretty sure the LGS's are not getting them direct. ( i.e. they're aren't any other distributors. Midway is currently out of stock - no back order on all of them )

And cases sell out in like 30 minutes when they get them in at the current price they're charging, so why wouldn't they keep bringing them in. Supply and Demand.

Sorry for the rant but I stand by Carter's and OGC's honesty and credibility.

$30 -$35 is not bad, compare to gun source selling mags for $59.99 each.

I heard Anthony was pre-selling P-Mags for $200 a pop a week or so ago.

It's nobody's business what the damn invoice is.

People who feel this way shouldn't buy gas for their cars.

Gas is marked up over 100% when it's cheap, 200% or more when the prices are high.

I wish people would quit anonymously complaining about the gun stores online.

If you have a problem, go and ask for the owner and tell him face to face "I don't like the way you do business and I refuse to shop at your store"

Let him see who is talking crap about him.
