When they feel the heat, they see the light. CO Dems and Gov. back off gun control plan. http://t.co/f1Uz6xAM
Whew. I hope. Hick's (Governor Hickenlooper) been waffling back and forth on GUUUHHHNNN control. He wants to toe the party liine so he can become a US Senator, and I suspect he's angling for secure support from the more rural areas of the state. Yeah, he won the Governorship, but that was before GUUUUHHHN control became such a big issue.
Either that, or he's re-developed a sense of "what's good for the country"... as opposed to "what's good for my election chances."
Rare for a poltician, but possible.
He was lukewarmedly neutral on GUUUHHHHN control before the election, but then started to make anti comments afterwards. Not blatantly so, but he seemed to warm up a little about GUUUHHHN control right after the election.
I know it's politically incorrect to suggest it, but the enormous effect of unlawful occupation of this country (and the Denver Metro area) cannot be discounted.
After all, how many Garcias and Hernandezes and Etceteras can the Voting Registrars really keep proper track of, especially since voting registration is a county function, but the driver's license is a state issue? To me, that Motor Voter registration which accompanies the driver's license applications is a shameful sham, and was designed specifically to allow unlawful occupants of this country to vote.
All above just my opinions.
