"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

My Christmas bonus this year...

Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 on the left and my dirt cheap American Tactical AR on the right.

tested out the new hand primer and hornady lock and load dispenser over the weekend
both worked great, made reloading a little faster
with the hornady powder dispenser, there was one cartridge that was .1 grain over the target weight.  but it set off an alarm notifying you that it is over, so I dumped it back in the reservoir and weighed it again....easy.
I did 100 rounds to test it out and only 1/100 went .1 grains over, otherwise every other round was right at the target weight.  accuracy is reported to be +/- .1 grain, so I am very satisfied with it

the RCBS hand primer worked really well, and fast
once I got the correct shell holder it was all good
I needed to get a newer RCBS shell holder, my Lee holder did not fit bc it needs to have a bevel in the base of the shell holder to fit into the hand primer
I had an older RCBS shell holder but that did not have the bevel so it didn't fit either, so I ordered a new one and it works fine now

I got the universal hand primer from RCBS. So no changing shell holders. I have had it for so many years I have had to replace most of the parts because I have worn them out. Recently, I decided to reload .45 Auto Rim for my Model 25 S&W Revolver instead of .45 ACP. So I bought 500 cases from Starline. I got the shell holder for it. I sized all 500 cases and I set aside 100 cases for my first loads. I set up my powder measure with powder and set the charge. And come to find out the rim is so thick on the new cases it won't fit in my universal hand primer. So now I have a hand primer with a universal shell holder that won't hold the shells and I have a shell holder that holds the shells but it won't work on the universal hand primer.

I like old things. Like my Harley, my wife, well you get the idea, maybe classic instead of old is a better word. That's why I fell in love with and picked this beautiful revolver.

From classic movies scenes as when Michael shoots Sollozo in The Godfather, or when Nick plays Russian roulette in The Deer Hunter, or Hutch's gun of choice a 357 Colt Phyton, from Starsky and Hutch, or Dirty Harry's 44 Magnum, my childhood was influenced with the beauty of real guns, revolvers.

I just picked up this brand new beauty, a Ruger GP100 Match Champion in 357 Magnum. As old, classic, and beautiful as it gets. Me and her are going on a date, dig that? We are going to have a real good time, dig that? A date to the range, some nice music, some nice ammo, maybe some nice targets. Just me and her. We are going back into competition, I'll tell my wife not to wait up.

Nice piece!!! I love flat sided barrels for both looks and the way they shoot.

Yes. They don't offer many caliber options in that package. Just 223 and 308 I think
