No actual new firearms, but swapped out my Magpul Fixed Carbine stock for a BCM Mod 0 Stock and picked up a "CQB Pouch" from SOE Tactical Gear - fits 2 AR-15 mags with 2 pistol mags. Planning to finally get to a HDF Pistol Class and eventually a Rifle/Pistol class with this set up. Also have a SOE AK/M4 Micro Rig, but maybe keeping everything on my belt might be more "streamlined" for classes.

I couldn't resist. Didn't think I'd ever own one of those white, top hats but now I know why they are so popular.

Nice clean streamlined belt rig.

Was browsing through the anschutznorthamerica.com site >> Custom Shop >> For Sale.

Found out that the Custom Shop sells custom rifles to the public, but Anschutz itself, does not sell regular inventory rifles online.

Got a BNIB Custom Shop Anschutz 1416 (64 action) 22LR, re-barreled 18" medium match barrel, cerakoted, epoxy bedded, with bolt & trigger (2stage: 3oz/3oz) tweaked.

Added a Nightforce Competition 42x44 scope on Talley rings.    Will try to shoot it this weekend...............

yes, started using the BACO bore wipers this year, awesome way to go, this is a vid of me testing them out.  wasn't sure if the dry patch was really drying off the chamber so there's the added step of checking - i don't do that anymore, no need.  80.4 grains of swiss 1-1/2f under a milk carton wad, 528 grain money elliptical bullet.  bullet is seated .180" into the case.

Already had two Streamlights (one for my G19 and one for my Mossberg 500) and they've been great. Thought about a different WML set-up for my Colt, but I'm just more comfortable with having the WML on the right side even though I'm a right handed shooter.

Dry-practiced it so far and the manipulation is easy for me. Key thing is I wanted to have all the "purchase" with the MOE SL carbine handguard on the left side without a WML getting in the way.

No pressure switches, just the simple toggle/tailcap that came with the light.

M Lok Cantilever rail + Streamlight TLR HL (800 lumens) all at HALF the cost of a Surefire M600 alone. Win -Win!

A few weeks ago I got me a Primary Arms 2.5x compact prism scope, a Strike Industries J-comp V2 (which works fantastic for under $40), spray painted them both to match the rifle but now I'm waiting on a GDI quick detach mount for the 2.5x prism

what better way to celebrate admissions day than building an AR!

Ruger AR556 stripped lower, milspec lower parts kit, Toms Tactical enhanced nickel Teflon trigger group, kaw valley precision 4.3 oz buffer, enhanced power buffer spring, ambi CH, PSA 18" barrel SS upper with 15" keymod handguard chambered in .223 Wylde, magpul k2 pistol grip, Luth-ar mba4 modular buttstock. I got more parts coming, but this is all I need to build it for now. going to switch over an optic from another AR before I sell that AR to a friend.  been slowly collecting parts, was in no rush to build.  Going to add some parts in FDE just to do something different. Should be fun!   :geekdanc:
