So I gone done bought a XD 45 -

XD 45 Bi-tone black/SS 4" with night sights for $750 with the discounts and taxes applied. Is that an excessively high price? Or is that about right?
 
If I can find an FFL transfer for less than $50, I'd rather buy online as it's usually cheaper, but I decided to try buying local again. The store I went to this time was actually alright. Unlike the other two I used to go to lol.

I have a buddy who uses his .40 cal XD sub as his carry gun and loves it!  Good luck with the nice little one.

A friend mentioned the XD over a year ago to me when I was debating buying a 1911. I told him I don't really like the glock design and it's clones, and like the classic feel better. Well in any case, the XD's appeal has overpowered me to the point I gone done bought one =Op.

Quite a few people feel that Glock stalled and rested on their laurels while other manufacturers were trying to innovate, the XD being one of them. That is why Glock brought out the Gen IV Glock but many people have already jumped ship. What I really mean to say is enjoy your purchase :D
