Does anyone know where to purchase reloading kits in Oahu. Preferably starter or mid-level kits? Thank you for your assistance.

Check out WGS in Hi Kai, they normally have a bunch of stuff from single stage presses to the higher end Dillons.  I'm not quite sure what they have right now though as I thought I heard that even Dillon is back ordered on their presses.  Also you might want to consider that a lot of the more common reloading components ( especially small pistol and rifle primers, and large pistol primers) and even bullets are tough to get right now.

Awesome, I am actually getting into reloading in order to load 7mm-08 ammo. There seems to be a shortage on the island for that particular load. In your opinion, what would be a decent kit to start off with? Thank you for your assistance and response.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were looking for rifle cartridge info.  I reload for pistol, 9mm, .40, .45ACP and .38Super so I really don't know anything regarding reloading for rifle stuff.  I load on a Dillon 550 and have no complaints whatsoever, however my reloading is definitely more geared towards quantity rather than producing precision-type ammo.  Hopefully some of the rifle reloaders will chime in and can offer more suggestions.

If your just starting I would look at getting the hornady lnl classic kit. It's a single stage press which will be good to get started rifle loading and has every thing you need to get started. The last time I was at young guns they had one in if not I'm sure u can find one online. wgs has loading supply's but I think joe doesn't have any presses other then expensive progressive presses right now but you can still give um a call and check. It's pretty hard finding reloading stuff right now good luck

the rcbs rock chucker supreme kit is a very good choice, as is Reading big boss pro pack. You don't need to buy on island. Brownells has flat rate shipping even here in hawaii.

check out u tube, they usually have pretty good videos on the actual presses doing the work along with commentary, they even show how to set up the press etc.....

Amazon has the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme for $319 + free shipping. Compared to $319 + $70 from Midway. Brownells would be the best option at $314 shipped, if they were in stock.

YG usually has the Hornady kits. X-Ring might have the Lee kits. I personally use RCBS but I don't know any LGS that sells RCBS. You can't go wrong with any of the beginner kits. Just make sure the kit you get has a single stage "O" shaped press. Some REALLY cheap beginner kits have a "C" shaped press. I don't recommend the "C" shaped presses.

amazon and midway have a few lee kits available... challenger single stage kit on amazon and pro1000 in 45acp on midway....last I checked sat...good luck finding reloading supplies....primers, popular powders like varget, cfe223, imr4064 (rifle cartridge)are hard to come by, bullets...especially bullets are scarce online.....but there out there..wgs is the best place....have fun be safe,.even safer reloading...
