My favorite out of my collection

Very nice!  I've been tempted to grab one of these myself.  Have you tried any of the Ruger MkIII target pistols other than the Lite?  If so, any comparison comments?  I like the fact the 22/45 has a 1911 feel, but I don't know whether the standard Ruger grip for the other model MKIII pistols are any better or worse.

Nice, Jbaroune

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

I never liked the look of those pistols the way they come stock, but yours looks really nice.  I didn't realize there was an aftermarket for them.

Thanks.  Yeah I tried the markII and the Mark III pistols. Both are very accurate and very good guns fun to shoot. I was set on getting a 22/45 because I like how 1911's fit in my hand. I ended up getting the light version because I like the look of the barrel and also my son shoots this gun so the lighter version is easier for him but its not that light after all the upgrades I've added on.

Ruger MKI, II and III Series have a big aftermarket parts assortment. Midway and Brownell's sells hundreds of add-ons and mods.

Yup looks good, the finish of the scope and chassis are almost matching. shot ok but just started working the load with brand new brass so hopefully should shoot a lot better next time.

Brudda Jon, that's a slick stick!  What's the twist on yours?  I have a LTR, but it's got a 1/10 twist... Not like most LRT's which are 1/12.  I'm thinking I found a winner in a 168gr load. Still working on 155/175 loads, but I still need to get me a Chrono...

Whats's up Ku? I like your LTR too  I should have text you yesterday, I was at the last bench on the right, I could have let you borrow the magnetospeed. I got the same LTR as you 1/10, working on the 168gr right now, what finally worked for you?  Also where did you pick up your Atlas bipod?

Might head to koko head on Friday or Saturday, will let you know.
