Voodo - Thanks for that....

2A - Got it about a year ago now. When I saw the condition it was in I had to have it.....I had wanted one since I was a kid and saw the California Highway Patrol carrying them around. It's my one and only safe queen

Took these pics at Young Guns, where they're waiting while I sit through my 14 days.

Newly acquired house gun... CCW later. ;)

Smith and Wesson model 65-3, 3" barrel in .357 Magnum.  O0

I hand loaded some real powder puff stuff for my lady to shoot in the S&W .357, and I took her to the plinker range today.  This gun was bought specifically for her to use 'Just in Case'  Haha.. I shot the first round, I swear, it seemed like the bullet barely left the barrel.  Recoil seemed to me to be LESS than that of a .22lr pistol.  Pretty cool!  It took what seemed like one second to reach the 50 yard steel.

Loaded up in a .38 special case, a 105 grain .358 LFP from Meister Bullets, under which I placed a small charge of Trailboss powder and a Winchester small pistol primer.  This is a very sweet load to get new shooters acquainted with a wheel gun.  I think I'll bump the charge up a little more next time though.  :)

This little honey is a little rough here and there, but it's like a broke d**k.......

Haha, I normally buy at least 3-5 firearms a year.

I only buy a firearm if the price is right.

I've bought 5 in the last month.

There's nothing like a good deal.

I don't know if you noticed it's a .22, but it was $360 at Young Guns. Do yourself a favor and look up the GSG 1911 22. It's the same gun, and I've seen it online for as low as $317. Look up magazines by GSG instead of the SIG name, and you'll save money on those, too. (I found out too late.)

nf9648, what's the deal with the triple tap? Is it broke or is there some other kinda story behind it?

Pulled it from my SR15 to go on a LMT 10.5" upper, thats how it looked after 5 minutes in carbon killer.  I literally had little carbon mountains built up inside of the brake that required a punch (not a pick) to break them up and knock them out.  I cant wait to see the fireballs it makes on the 10.5" barrel.  Cant tell in the pic, but that triple tap was one of the "in the white" models, thanks to the NT4 can its pretty subdued now.
