I assume that's one of those sticky traps?

I've been using electronic traps for many years with good success.  It's big enough for full grown rats but also works with the smallest mice.

Mine use D-cell batteries, but they last over a year at least depending on the traffic it sees.

A little peanut butter at the far end on a piece of cardboard, turn it on, and it's set.

I checked Amazon, and the one i use isn't listed now.  The ones I found are rechargeable (saves on battery cost) for the same price i paid in 2017 -- $35.  First time i bought one was 2014, and they were $40 then.

I wouldn't know how much 1 bb cost. 

I seem to recall that mice are social, so there might be another little bugger scurrying around.
