check the hawaii state bill tracker
http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/measure_indiv.aspx?billtype=SB&billnumber=36&year=2013

Senate bill, still in senate with ONE republican. Wouldn't hurt to contact senate committee and senate, as well as house reps.

Yes. The session has ended, but this bill isn't dead and we need to remain vigilant. These Demoncunts want total and absolute control, and we can't afford to let our guards down.

I continue to write the various committee chairs, even if it hasn't moved.  I also write those that introduced the bill, or have signed on as co-sponsors.  I probably should write everyone on the committee too, but haven't gone that far yet.  I've gotten several canned replies from Neil Abercrombie in US mail.  Basically he says he'll look at things very closely if/when they make it to his desk....what ever that means.....Once a week I write most of these folks stating my opposition (and why) and send via US mail.  I think it has more impact than an email.

The bill didn't cross over to the House so it is essentially dead. Yes, there is a remote possibility that some legislative maneuvering could resurrect it, but it is very unlikely. We'll keep an eye on it to see if it starts to move, but, again, that's unlikely.
