Its a good thing.  Helps spread the word too.  Talked to a lot of shooters that are not aware of what is going on.  Good place to get educated  :shaka:
It is what it is.

Could be a good and bad thing. Good cause there are so many new shooters. This forum allows for them to ask questions and get information. Bad cause not all the responses and info is accurate and or prudent so take all info on this site with caution and common sense.

was not implying that it's a bad thing
just makes it hard to keep up with all the posts

and i agree, the better informed and organized we are, the better

Bruddah macsak,

I think you were asking about stats... if so, go to the 2aHawaii.com Home page, then scroll down to the very bottom of the screen.

A couple of lines beneath the ecru-colored (yeah, I said "ecru," damn it... not "coyote tan"!) bar titled, "Forum Stats," you'll see a little link that reads, "[More Stats]."

Click on that and it'll show you some interesting forum stats, like:

1.  General Statistics;
2.  Top 10 Forum Posters (Grats, bruddah KK!);
3.  Top 10 Topics; and
4.  Top Topic Starters (Grats, bruddah 2a!).

Also includes # of New Topics; # of New Posts; # of New Members; and Most Online by year (even breaks it down by month and day!).

I mention it from time to time on other mainland boards, and even link to a few posts here... especially the How's the Line at HPD.  That, just to show people in Free States how spoiled they are, and if stuff like that comes to their state, what it would be like.  And I'm fairly sure some new folks here have writing styles similar to folks I've read on some mainland boards... but don't pin me down on that.

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.

i know i just returned from nevada bought some firearms from cabelas to bring back with me people kept asking including some employees there and they couldnt believe how difficult the acquiring a firearm especially a handgun was including the registration. And the look on their faces showed how spoiled they really are to me.

I'm a little leary of a lot of the new members just posting in classifieds section.

Seems like their not into the issues, just the buy and sell.

Of course this not all inclusive. Welcome to the all the new members who joined for the haul.  :shaka:

I'm a new member.  I don't even own any guns, but I'd like to help preserve the right to do so into the future.  I'm using the money I'd spend on firearms to support the origination's which are fighting for these rights.  NRA, HRA, HDF, GOA, and others.....  The money I'd be spending on ammo is going into these organizations funds to help preserve and defend our 2a rights.
Instead of spending time at the range or hunting, I'm spending time at the State Capital, writing letters (and emails), and helping in what ever way I can.  I'm kinda flying blind, but learning pretty quick.  Going down to capital now to testify in opposition to SB69HD1.

In a year or so, I'll probably try to find an old over/under 410/22 to teach my young boys how to shoot.  They've already gone through various gun safety education at home (and Cub Scouts).  Reviewing Eddie Eagle with them (again) now.   I'd hate to think they couldn't do the same with my grand-kids when that time comes.

I have gotten lots of help from this site on these issues, and I appreciate it!!  Thanks to all.
