How about a thread designed to schedule meet ups to try different guns? I think this would be a good way to try out guns that you may be considering buying. ofcourse if you want to shoot someones gun, you should buy your own ammo plus an additional box for them would be a nice thing to do as well.

ok ill start. Im gonna be at koko head on 4/11/13 all day. Gonna have a Sig Sauer p226 9mm enhanced elite (and beretta m9 if my brother decides to go, he is 90% sure but not a guarantee) if anyone wants to try it.

K talked to him and if he doesnt go hes gonna let me borrow it, so m9 is there as well guaranteed.

I think this would be good for people that only have handguns that want to try rifles, or people that are considering buying a gun that cost 1000+ but want to shoot it first. IDK, this might not work, but if it helps just one person get the gun that he or she really likes, it was worth it.

i'd love to try the P226. how much you want for me to put a few mags through it?

I think it's a cool idea.

Not only would it allow us try out different pistols and rifles but it would also give us another way to meet each other and talk story!

Im thinking about getting a rifle if anyone has one that wants to meet up. Im thinking ar-15, 308, 30-06.

Im pretty sure most people would let fellow enthusiast fire their gun if they asked and provided their own ammo. This is just a way to make sure the gun you want to try is there when you are.
