you live closer, i live in palolo. i still say its a "go" though.

http://www1.honolulu.gov/cameras/oahutraffic.htm   this isnt the best quality cameras but a good way to see about how much its raining. if you look on the bottom map its basically a listing of traffic cameras on kalanianaole, so if you click the 3 furthest cameras on the right you can see kokohead in the background and how rainy the roads are.

drove to costco at 10 am
clear
leaving costco 10:30 am drizzling
doesn't look like it will rain hard
and wind is very light

don't wait until the last day of the coupons :(

It's 2:15 pm and I'm at the base of Koko Head. It's breezy but not raining.  It doesnt look like it will rain for the rest of the afternoon.

That is because it's Mothers Day...would get my ass kicked if I went to the range today! Not that I could anyway...can't pick up permit until the 16th!
