Apparent suicide reported at Koko Head firing range

Police detectives are investigating what initially appears to be an apparent suicide this morning at the Koko Head firing range.

Police were called to the scene where a man allegedly shot himself near the Lanai Lookout in east Honolulu at 6:45 a.m. this morning.

The medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.

Hmm interesting seeing that kokohead isn't even open today wonder what really happened.

Some saying at the lookout some saying at the range I guess to early to tell I remember my uncle telling me about a suicide at the pistol side but that was a long time ago

Never let the facts get inthe way of a good story ...

What the hell. If youre gonna shot yourself, at least have the courtesy to do it in the privacy of your own room. Jeez

 I seriously hope not. I plan to shoot from open to close. I saw that you already fired a p226. U still interested in trying mine or do I get to shoot all day?

They usually do not publicize suicides.  We don't want people to get their fantasy on, so likely you are incorrect. What is stupid is it can't happen in two different places at the same time.

They probably got the location wrong. Ergo, no "suicide at the gun range" story to run, so they retracted the story.
