It appears tresmond is supplying unofficial, unconfirmable info.

That is, yes, it could all be fabricated, and, at the very least, seems to be missing a bit of info, at least officially.
The story in the link just reiterates what the attorney stated in the radio interview. He said he is gathering facts across the state and many things are still unknown. He has requested a hearing in this matter and awaiting their response, and New York State Police and the Commissioner are the ones being named.  One thing for sure is the document clearly shows his permit is being revoked and many facts still need to be determined, but the attorney, his client, and the story with the known available facts is real and not a fabrication. The actual local news networks in New York are airing the same story, with interviews from the attorney and networks have also made inquires with the New York State Police for additional info. Only time and all the facts will determine where is goes, just like any initial story. I'm curious as to where this goes once all the facts are made public. Either he has a valid case or there is more to the background of his clients...there is no question the guy's firearms have to be surrendered.

right.  of course, that distinction is the difference between a worthwhile story, or BS.

not surprised. push the law, until people push back, then call it an error, back off, and hopefully the people will do the same.  All their doing is testing the limits.  I would sue them anyways, for the rest of NY!!

Imagine if the poor guy didn't fight it or he couldn't afford an attorney. Sounds like this particular attorney is fighting for all the New Yorkers that are getting screwed over by their BS gun laws.

exactly.  sounds like they are just being bullies.  and police will just say they are enforcing the laws.  and no one will do anything, all they will probably say is get the laws changed.  jerks
