Went to the skeet range last last weekend and had a ball so I picked up a Weatherby SA-08 this past weekend and had even more fun on Sunday! Lot of good people out there willing to help out the n00bz too. Just wanted to share.... =P

Hey, I was shooting skeet this past Sunday, too :) Good fun, huh!? I was on the trap side most of the day but went over to shoot skeet towards the end. It was my first time on the skeet side and I did super terrible! I did get two doubles though so that made up for all
the misses, lol. You might have heard us cheering if you were there, haha. Anyway, maybe we will bump into each other one day. I will be there again on Sunday. Just look for the kid with the tactical pump shotty, lol. Have fun!

There should be a lot of change happening on the shotgun side.  There is a new range guy.

If it's who I think he is, FYI, he can shoot a S & W M-19 Combat magnum(357) a lot Better and a lot faster than I can.  We used
to shoot with MPPL over 25 years ago.

He's a really nice guy, very open and easy to talk to.

I am happy to be his sponser into LIFE as an instructor if he needs one.

our routine so far has been skeet around 9 or 10 till 12 or 1 and then we always head over to the metal silhouette range for the remainder of the day. not sure if we'll be there this sunday since it's halloween. maybe we'll show up in costume! haha

Awesome.  I've only shot skeet once, I hope to do it again soon!  I shot trap for the first time this past weekend with my Ithica 37, and had a blast!  I am not great, but somehow I have a knack for this stuff.  Anyways, hope to see some of you guys out there (probably unknowingly!)  I also frequent the silhouette range every few weeks, though I still prefer the pistol bullseye. :)

LOL show up at the range in costume, classic!!

I'd probably pass out from heat stroke halfway through 1 round of skeet in my costume.

I will be on the trap side tomorrow. Was considering coming in a gorilla suit but that side is already blazing hot as it is! I will be the one sharing my tacticool shotty with 2 - 4 other people, haha. Everyone like shoot, no one like buy gun!
