For or against?

Yay (57)  Nay (43)  To allow cc permits valid everywhere.  Needed 60 for it to pass

It's time the president realizes that Americans will always fight for their rights.  We'll be here everyday ready to fight.

Bills need at least 60 yays (yes) to pass  (yay-nay)

background check                         54-46
Leahy amendment                        58-42
CC reciprocity                                 57-43
AWB                                                  40-60
mentally incompetent veterans   56-44
Magazine ban                                 46-54

Every bill voted on did not pass.   :geekdanc:

yeah
as i understand it, these are votes on amendments to the original bill
the original bill still has to be voted on, but it will very likely to be defeated
so even if the cc reciprosity amendment passed, the main bill would've failed anyways

Great news!

I heard Reid say he intends to shelve the original bill for now.
