Are those yellow circle plates for everyone? I never noticed them till last week, my friend spotted them and told me about it. They looked clean so I thought it was private targets.

I would have to check my notes, but I used my golf range finder and from bench 62 or so, the rack was in the 240-250 yard range and the deer was in the 270 ish range. That's off the top of my head though. There's another crater at around 300 ish and another up in a valley at around 450 ish. The plates out there change week to week, so who knows what's out there now.

If you have google earth, there is a tool that allows you to measure distances, point a to b in miles, yards, meters, etc.

Distances depend on where you are sitting.  Further left you go the longer the distances.  The gong is about the exception as you have to be on the right side to have a line of sight on it.

Plates on the left about 220 yds or so.
Deer about 240-250 yds.
Plates on the right about 310 yds
Gong about 410 yds

I lasered the distances a long time (years) ago so I don't remember the ranges too well now.

The RSO's knew the distances (I am assuming they are accurate) of all the plates when I asked awhile back.  The yellow plates were not there two months ago from what I recall, but I also saw them two weeks ago.  Didn't look like anyone was shooting at them either(clean plates).  I also thought they were private targets.

I thought the gong was 440 yards last time I ranged it last year.  I'll go range it tomorrow.

I had the same issue last week. the only thing I could see is when I hit the branches on the tree by the yellow target on the left....

This is whats posted on the board at KHSC

Big Saw Horse - 240 yards
Deer - 270 yards
Small Saw Horse - 310 yards
Vally(gong) 445 yards

I also saw the three yellow plates there yesterday.
On the far left yellow plate. on that very same tree, there is a 8" metal target hanging as well.
Any one know the range of that target?

These are the ranges I shot today.  The yellow plates were hard to range, so not sure if that one is accurate.
