Are slingshots allowed at the (rifle) range?
« on: April 22, 2013, 01:35:18 PM »
I just purchased a Barnett Outdoors Cobra Slingshot with Stabilizer and Brace  from Amazon & want to test it out once the 38 caliber slingshot ammo gets in.  http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000HE8NL2/?tag=2ahawaii-20

I do not see it specifically prohibited and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was okay to bring a slingshot to test at the range.  I figured that the range would be much safer than testing it out in my back yard.

I'm not sure but I couldn't find anything in the rules either so I guess technically it should be ok. BUT if it's a busy day I wouldn't suggest it. I'd prob be a lil irritated if I drove all the way out there and had to wait while someone was shooting a sling shot. Just my 2 cents

Thanks . . . LOL.  I wouldn't only bring the slingshot though.

We should all bring slingshots.

We'd show up at 4:00am on a Sunday and take like 20 benches.

Put a rifle on the bench and shoot only slingshots all day.

How hilarious would that be.

There'd be like 75 angry people waiting.

Make sure you don't load more than 5 BB's, bearings, or whatever you're shooting at one time!

Might not be a good idea. It looks like that might be considered an ultra scary assault slingshot, with its vertical pistol grip, forearm thingy and tactical vented pouch.   Also, I hope you don't have the high capacity shot holder.   You would be in BIG trouble then.   :o

that is awesome. I would shoot my AR and wait 10 minutes between each shot. "to let the barrel cool", and shoot my slingshot in between
