if im not mistaken just like when you register they want specifics example. ; Japanese or filipino not just "Asian " but what we all need to work on i feel is the most important is the reason why we feel we need to ccw. And a good one which cannot be denied.  ;)

Even better was the "Build" one. I actually asked the officer what to put.....he shrugged and said "average??".

I just received my Nevada CCW a couple weeks ago after applying in December, I qualified with a Glock 19 so on my permit it states I can only CCW semi autos.

So if a private citizen (no retired LEO) was ever issued a CCW permit, is there a requirement to go through any firearms or CCW training?

I wish someday I could CCW legally in Hawaii. Wishful thinking...

I agree. However, if we could just get CCW approved I'd be more than happy to carry multiple 10 rd mags!  :thumbsup:

I haven't applied yet. The whole idea of applying, just to get denied? If we all jump on the band wagon...I'll be the first to go down to HPD and ask for an application. Supposedly only five people applied last year? Maybe it's time to take action and make an effort to help Chris.

It's a lost cause at this point and time, but I would apply for ccw if we all made a stand to prove a point or try to exercise our constitutional right.

I hear ya man, it's definitely disheartening to think you're applying just to be shot down but you should still do it....I did!!  :thumbsup:

I mean it's easy for the chief of police to dismiss 5 applicants but imagine him rejecting 50, 100 or even 500.....those kind of numbers would be hard to ignore. Without a true demand change will never happen, it takes a group effort and the collaboration of the masses to bring about this type of change!!

Not to mention I'm sure it would really help Chris' case to have 100's of applicants trying to get CCW permits as opposed to just a handful!

Back in feb there was a guy applying.  He was gettig his prints done at the ink station.  Everyone was just staring and whispering to their neighbor about it
