Woman, 18, arrested following Kailua assault
By Star-Advertiser staff
POSTED: 07:36 a.m. HST, Jul 17, 2011

An 18-year-old woman, upset about another woman's boyfriend, assaulted the woman in a parking lot in Kailua, police said.

Police said the assailant has been angry for sometime with the victim because of a past relationship with the victim's boyfriend.

The victim was already in the parking lot about 8:30 p.m. Friday when the assailant pulled up, opened the victim's car door, and assaulted her as she sat in her car, police said.

Officers arrested the alleged assailant for investigation of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and terroristic threatening.

I found the original story and it looks like some fishy circumstances. It may have been murder even though the police aren't saying so yet.

She saw the guy carrying the dog and quickly grabbed the gun.

"Now's my chance."

Man arrested for "Home Invasion"

http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/125937423.html

I know, the title says "Break-in" not "Home Invasion," but isn't breaking into a home that is occupied more than just a burglary? And, why was he arrested for "just" burglary??

Police fire TASER at suspect

http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/126037468.html

So, the suspect allegedly assaults a family member, advances on police holding a knife and shouting expletives, gets shot with a TASER to subdue him, and then he's booked and let back out into society where we peons aren't able to utilize the same tools the police use if we encounter this bozo who obviously has impulse control and anger management issues (and probably psych issues - not normal to cut yourself...).....Great :wtf:

Honolulu police arrested a man after he allegedly broke into the Makaha apartment of a woman trying to break up with him and threatened her Friday night.

Police said the man, 29, removed the louvers to a window of the Farrington Highway apartment and entered the unit without permission about 7:30 p.m. Friday. After an argument with the woman, 56, he threatened the woman with a kitchen knife.

The suspect was arrested and is being held pending charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree terroristic threatening, as well as several contempt cases.

Maybe threatening the man back with a phone worked this time?

I may have called it in, pending the results of a good, old-fashioned, poke-it-with-a-stick test.  Isn't that what everybody does when they find dead bodies? No?  Maybe I spend too much time watching Adult Swim on Cartoon Network...   ;D
