You know maybe, or it could just the way some people are brought up I guess    It was my decision to help him out... although it appeared he could have used more help than I knew to offer.  So I ended up chalking it up as a learning experience(don't let people you don't know borrow stuff)

I would of brought it back in one hand and cash in the other...that is just how I was raised. Maybe he will surprise you and give you a new one the next time he sees you at the range.

 

You've must have been shooting next to the guy I let borrow an extra frame.  Literally shot it in half with .223.  It was almost like he was trying to hit the frame.  I figured he knew how to bz or zero his optic... guess I was wrong.

I guess it was a Wrong move but I understand u was jus tryin fo help a fellow shooter but personally I never let anybody borrow my frames unless i kno how dea shoot. Sry to hear wat he did to ur frame u should have suggested dat he pay for another one..

I hope the guy offered. I'd be mad cuz it's not only the cost of materials it's the time I would have to spend going to city mill to buy the wood. Even if you're buying pre built frames you still need to take the time to go to the store

He didn't.  He must have been a new shooter, I could have sworn he thought it was funny.  I'm pretty sure the guy said he was in the marines and his AR looked like it had some wear.  That's why I didn't even worry about it at the time. That frame is now a loaner I take.  I see new guys at kokohead pretty often, so I usually bring extra hearing protection too.  I've seen guys plugging their ears with their fingers.  Just spreading the aloha
