If I purchase another handgun while I am here, do I have to go through the entire process again? Probably going to buy if off of Buds. Ship to FFL, take information down to HPD, fill out permit, wait 14 days, pick permit up and then take pistol back down to HPD? Can I ship it to FFL, pick it up and take it to HPD to register? I am sorry if this has already been answered a billion times...

yep.  seperate permit and waiting period for every handgun.

Same routine, every time. You can start the permitting process as soon as you have the required info, so shave a few days off while the gun is being shipped. Otherwise, you still need a permit, it still takes two weeks, and you still have to make three trips to HPD.

So know the hassle..............you sure you only want to buy one handgun at a time?  More efficient to buy 2, 3, 4 at once.  The only other item is the FFL has to fill out the multiple firearm permit thing, but that's not something you have to do.
