let me cut to the front of the registration line, and I'll think about it. 

CCW + standard capacity mags = loan (or donation) of ammo from me

until then, if they asked I would tell them to #@$^ themselves for denying me my constitutional rights

He should ask DHS, or the DOA, or the IRS.....or OBastard; he knows which of his other  bureaucracies are stockpiling ammo.

Reminds me of the old joke...

Guy returning home from an informal shooting trip in the mountains and  gets stopped for some minor thing or another.  Cop asks, "Do you have any guns in the car?"

Guy answers, "Sure.  How many do you need?"

He should ask Janet Napolitano and the DHS for ammo - they're the ones hogging up the supply.

Someone needs to be fired.  A police department with no ammo and have to borrow.  Did nobody open the safe?

DHS isn't buying up all the 30-30, 44 special, Pyrodex P or the Universal. If you're looking for the ammo hogs we need look no further than ourselves. DHS is making large ammo orders for the same reason we are: they knew Obama was a good guns and ammo salesman.

While I don't particularly appreciate the politics of the local police department when it comes to the 2nd amendment I do understand the need to have well equipped officers.

If the BI police needed ammo and I had some of what they needed I'd share without reservation... but I can do that partly because I'm fairly well stocked with ammo makins' in calibers that I know they don't use.
