IRS, DOJ, and Benghazi Expose Limits of Obama’s Big-Government Vision

"Obama looks to government as the first solution. It’s in his DNA, writes Stuart Stevens. And now that DNA is producing rogue genes."

“If the people cannot trust their government to do the job for which it exists—to protect them and to promote their common welfare—all else is lost.” —Sen. Barack Obama, August 28, 2006

For all those people who voted him in, wonder how's that working out for them now. Pot meets kettle for sure. Transparency in government...yeah right.

Transparency is one thing, what scares me more is that he might actually be finding things out the same time as us.  If this is true, it means he has no control over his subordinates.

Great point. Or option #3, a combination of both.

I wonder.....Nixon resigned due to possible impeachment over the Watergate scandal.  Have we forgotten history and accountability and not thought of impeachment of our President along with some of his cabinet members for potentially being accomplices to murder?

...or, as Rush is fond of pointing out, Obama is probably very aware of what is going on under his watch, but is leading the people to BELIEVE he is unaware of what is going on under his watch, in order to maintain "plausible deniability," and adopt a "hey, it wasn't me!" position...............

That's not plausible deniability it's about having no control over what you are supposed to be in charge of.  IMHO that is scary.  It means people are acting with no controls.

Well his platform originally was "change" and the majority voted him in on that.  For bettor or worse he did change from G.W.   ;D

I wouldn't be surprised if all these "scandals" were HIS idea

Bottom line is, government can't compete with the private sector, never could, never will.  Yes, some form of government  is needed, but does it need to continue to grow despite the fact its losing more and more money?  Perfect example would be the USPS.

I'll probably irritate more than a few people here given its Hawaii and all but unions are another problem.  If you do good work, are a good worker and actually hustle in life, why do you have to pay someone to speak for you and "protect" you?

Prove yourself at work everyday.  Everyday is like a job interview.  Make yourself valuable and and always learn more.  Then you won't have to worry, because companies are always looking for people like that.  Great employees are in short supply.

The more we stray from common sense, the more complex and difficult it becomes, the worse off EVERYONE is.

It was pointed out continuously before Zero was elected that he had absolutely zero experience doing anything.  Other than community agitating, assuming that sort of thing qualified him for something besides vote fraud.

Having no control may just emphasize that the tool is in way over his head with no idea what is going on.

Post Turtle, indeed.  He proves it every day.

Obama wasn't reelected based on his stellar performance the first four years:

Political Party Affiliation
Promises of Social Justice
Promises of Immigration Reform (meaning Amnesty for illegals in the US)
Promises of closing Gitmo
Promises of halting the war in Afghanistan
Promises of Wealth Redistribution
Promises of Increased Benefits for social welfare programs
Promises of free birth control prescriptions
Promises of free cell phones
Promises of punishing the 1% of wealthiest Americans and making them pay "their fare share in taxes"
Promises to rebuild the Northeastern seaboard after Hurricane Sandy
Promises to provide free medical coverage for everyone below the middle class income level (Obamacare)
Promises to do away with preexisting condition restrictions (Obamacare)
Promises to let kids stay on parents' coverage through age 26 (Obamacare)
Promises to reduce medical coverage costs (Obamacare)
Promises to reduce the national debt
Promises to reduce the budget deficit
Fear of what Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan want to accomplish
Fear of "Extreme Right Wing Ideas", such as defending the Constitution against all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC, under the protection of the Second Amendment
Fear the Conservatives will turn back the Roe v. Wade decision
Fear Romney wanted to kill Big Bird
and, the one nobody wants to admit ... the color of his skin

Nothing in his campaign talked about accomplishments.  The best they could do was saving GM (not the government's role, and they saved UNION JOBS not a company.  GM would have been better off filing for bankruptcy protection and renegotiating the union contracts), killing Osama Bin Laden (like it was his personal accomplishment), and turning around a downward spiraling economy (economies fix themselves.  Stimulus spending actually prolonged the misery longer than it would have been).

So, I doubt anyone would say they had high expectations of his abilities.  They only have high expectations of what he promised (or implied) he would GIVE THEM.

I agree that having no control over what you are supposed to be in charge of is scary.

However, what I was (perhap, poorly) trying to suggest is that Obama has complete knowledge and control over these goings-on, but is acting as though he has no knowledge or control over these issues.

That, in my humble opinion, is even scarier and more sinister than simply not having control over what one is supposed to be in charge of.

Again, just my $0.02.

I hear you.  The Government always has secrets that should not be common knowledge due to potential misuse, or panic, etc.  It would indeed be scary if Obama was orchestrating all of this, but given his record at not running anything before becoming President leads me to think otherwise.
