Take it easy, Desperado.

You have no idea, I've got more than one of these...
Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Couple of the Bros living in condos use golf bags to haul firearms & to range and on hunting trips. Real stealthy....
Buddy uses a SKB hard golf case to travel and picked it up real cheap. Holds gun or bow in soft case and other gear. Hope that helps.

I have the 5.11 M4 Covert Backpack.  Not totally deceptive like an instrument case, but it doesn't scream "GUN!" at a glance, either!  Resembles a racket case or sports equipment bag.

Folding chair bag.  No questions about how long I've been playing or my handicap.
Likely to be ignored if my car is broken into.

Not sure of the legalities of using name brand tool cases, but thought wearing some old jeans, t-shirt and some boots, one wouldn't think an ar15 would be stuffed in the Dewalt tool case.

I think you'd be surprised at how few people can recognize a gun case.

when i bought my pistol, the timing of it meant i had to take it to work with me because the lines at HPD took way too damn long.  my friend was with me and he thought i was crazy and i told that no one would know what it was.  trust me, if they knew what it was, they would have made a deal out of it.

set down the case (hell, it still had the sticker on the side with the model of the pistol on it) on an open table next to my backpack.  no one noticed it, asked questions, or knew what it was.  it sat there for 5 hours.
