just saw at the skeet range today a new shop is opening in kaimuki. supposedly carrying firearms etc, anybody got more info about this. the flyer said opening in june with the grand opening july 6th.

i thought the store name sounded familiar, hope they have a good selection of stuff, always good to have a new store. competition always good for the consumer. if anyone hears anything more......

J.hara is a awesome mom and pop outdoor supply store from hilo though they are more know for fishing supplies.  Not familiar with the store on richard st downtown but I heard there was a ffl guy there who brings in small batch high end "eveil black guns"

im assuming if its at kaimuki shopping center it will be upstairs, third floor, by the chiropractors and other small offices.
i wish it were a huge store that took over the old columbia inn. the two restaurants currently in that spot suck.

I wonder, when I looked up the address on the flyer Longs came up. Perhaps its on a different level or in an adjacent building, haven't been to that Longs in years. Its too bad they couldn't open up in the old Moiliili Longs location, could fit a lot of cool toys in there and it has plenty of parking.

I've been to Hara as I was working on the Big Island this past year.  Really surprised me with all the ammo they had up there.  Last time I was really in there was the 90's.
