seems like a diy version of the lifestraw.

not sure if youve seen those before but they are super light and get great reviews. right now the amazon seller that had em for cheap is sold out, but they usually have it for $20 with free shipping.

The lifestraw is suppose to be small enough to filter for leptospirosis.
Not sure about replacement filters but they have a good lifespan.

Oh your right, its a drink right now kinda straw, not a save for later fill something up type.
