installed the Hogue grips on my Super Blackhawk
haven't shot it yet with the new grips
but just holding it, it feels way better.
it feels like it's bigger top to bottom, so i can now use my whole hand to grip instead of my pinky off the edge
feels bigger in circumference also, feels more stable with 2 hands
and one more thing i noticed, my hand sits a little further back on the gun so my trigger hand isn't right up against the trigger guard, or so close to the hammer
so my grip being a little further back, it feels more barrel heavy, which is a good thing being the barrel is 4.6"
heres a couple pics showing the different grips, stock and hogue
overall, I'm really liking the hogue grips, but will give a final confirmation after shooting it.
good thing i also got the pistol bag, bc with the hogue grips the gun doesn't fit in the ruger hard case now.

Nice gun. My dad had the same one ( I think the same model) that I used to shoot as a kid. I always wanted one like it.

you can never have too many revolvers
my new addition is the SP101 bottom right, .357
clockwise from bottom left are:

LCR .22LR, Single Ten .22LR, Super Blackhawk .44 mag, GP100 .357, SP101 .357.  all Rugers, of course.   :D

The one thing I like to point out about S&W compared to Ruger is how stout Ruger makes their revolvers.  Look at how much more more metal the cylinder has compared to the S&W. Also, notice the top strap. Looks almost to be twice as thick on the Ruger. This guy also pointed out the front lock up on the Ruger. The Redhawk is one of the strongest revolvers you can buy. With that said, the one he has is an old model. The frame had not been extended yet like the newer ones have.

Very nice video, thanks for this.

i like the beefy-ness on the Rugers.
my SBH is only 4.6", but with the weight and the non-fluted cylinder, recoil isn't too bad.
