Thought it was okay because you Can't register thoes pistols in HI anyway due to semi auto weight.  The one that hon firearms at the time magnum brought into sale got stopped and they are not permited to sale it.  Therefor it sits on the shelf.

I believe that Zip Gun is relatively new?
I dunno about the others listed...
I believe the Magnum Research firearm has been around longer?
I've seen BX-25's, Butler Creeks, etc. listed in the classifieds in here.
By the wording of the HRS, they should all be illegal at this point in time?
The Ruger BX-25's is also a relatively recent product, so I can't see units sneaking under the pistol 10-round cap rule legally?
So all BX-25's in the state of Hawaii are flat-out illegal???

Magnum Research Charger is under 50 oz. So its legal here.

Yes the ZIPGUN kills it also....

But I mod the mags so they cant fit into any other 10/22 so you can use the hicap mags in the Ruger 10/22 rifle.

The 15-22P is considered an assault pistol so not legal in Hawaii

I believe that Zip Gun is relatively new? YES

"Assault pistol" means a semiautomatic pistol which accepts a detachable magazine and which has two or more of the following characteristics:

     (1)  An ammunition magazine which attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip; ZIPGUN- The mag is the pistol Grip

     (2)  A threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward hand grip, or silencer; ZIPGUN- NONE

     (3)  A shroud which is attached to or partially or completely encircles the barrel and which permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the second hand without being burned; ZIPGUN- NONE

     (4)  A manufactured weight of fifty ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; ZIPGUN- Light as hell

     (5)  A centerfire pistol with an overall length of twelve inches or more; or ZIPGUN- Does not apply

     (6)  It is a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm; ZIPGUN- Does not apply

So ZIPGUN legal in Hawaii with a 10 rnd Mag.

I dunno about the others listed...
I believe the Magnum Research firearm has been around longer? YES but has a lighter Barrel, Is not a Centerfire.
I've seen BX-25's, Butler Creeks, etc. listed in the classifieds in here. Yup and I laugh all the time.
By the wording of the HRS, they should all be illegal at this point in time? YES unless modified NOT to fit in a PISTOL
The Ruger BX-25's is also a relatively recent product, so I can't see units sneaking under the pistol 10-round cap rule legally? YUP Unless they are blocked 10 Rounds or MODIFIED NOT TO FIT IN A 10/22 Mag based PISTOL.
So all BX-25's in the state of Hawaii are flat-out illegal??? YUP.....Except for LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL Unless they are blocked 10 Rounds or MODIFIED NOT TO FIT A PISTOL.

I hope this helps.
