Only Young Bros and get ready to pay some Hazmat fees so make sure you send as big of a shipment as possible!

Last I checked UPS will not ship to outer islands.

No gunpowder or primers allowed on airplanes.

Cargo or commercial

Really? I have received shipments of ammo through UPS before; don't see why they wouldn't allow it inter-island.

Where have you ordered to receive by UPS? I would like to try from there too!

Thanks

I'm pretty sure there is a difference between loaded ammo and just containers of powder. Just like if u were to go inter island to hunt u can take over loaded ammo but not powders on the plane.

You are correct. Powder and primers are not allowed. Ammo is OK, however, all airlines have different rules about quantity (usually by weight) and packing. As with firearms all ammo must be in checked baggage and separate from the firearm.

I recently flew United and checked on this incase I came across 9mm cartridges while traveling on the east coast and they allow 11lbs per checked bag. It must be in manufactures boxing or other locked box if not boxed. I believe that Alaska Airlines is the most liberal about allowing amounts of ammo in checked bags.

Security Equipment used to ship primers and powder (separately) via Young Brother's...I did this one time before...Just buy the powder/primers, then SE will dop it off Young Brothers, then you pay the shipping when it arrives.

Some Mainland companies ship primers via UPS also.

Yeah be prepared to fill out the forms correctly and have the proper stickers too not to mention MSDS for it.  I shipped over some powder from Oahu to Hilo I think my total charge was around $50.

Attached are the paperwork I filled out.  Need to get the proper stickers and the classification can change depending on the pounds of powder you ship.

Thanks for the info. Did you just put your own contact information as the 24hr contact on the hazmat form?

For someone moving from the continental states to Hawaii, can I bring over my own powder and primers in my cargo container?
