I bought a model 8 a couple of years ago with a quad rail.  I think the T in model 8T is for the Diamondhead VRS-T handguard.  It is a great value since you get the flip up sights and the free float handguard so you are basically paying 1k for a piston rifle.  Ordered through WGS & it came with a 10 round magazine.

I have at least 5k rounds through it and it still shoots good, around 1 MOA.  Best part of it (or any Stag AR) is that it has a lifetime warranty on all parts, including the barrel.  I called Stag to verify warranty on the barrel and was told that once my groups @ 100 yards open up to 1-1/2 MOA to send in the rifle and they will replace the barrel (after they verify that it is not operator malfunction).

I have a replacement piston spring (piece broke off/snapped) & piston bolt (as in nut & bolt not bolt or bolt carrier) sent to me free of charge.  You may want to purchase spare parts (spring, op rod, piston bolt, etc) that are proprietary.  Had to wait a couple of weeks for the replacement spring = no shooting until it came in.

All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.  Only mod is that I dropped in a Timney trigger. Thanks for the tip on the barrel warranty  I heard very good reviews on the 8TL in magazines & online but wanted to see how the reviews were here locally. I have a Stag Model 2, did little upgrades to it & will do more slowly. So far I'm happy with my Stag, that's why I got my eyes set on the 8TL  if I do make that purchase, then ill start to learn & make a couple AR's in the future
