Chamber Reaming

Just got finished assembling an Lr308 upper in 6.5 Creedmoor, but when checking the headspace found that it is pretty tight, it will close on the go gauge but much tighter than it should be. Any suggestions on who I can take it to, to have it reamed and returned in a timely manner?  It's close so all it needs is hardly anything taken off like a thousandth of an inch.

See if Wayne at pacific custom rifle has the reamer.

I don't have that size.

Did you clean everything good?  Check the chamber with a lightt and check the
Throat. Also check the bolt face. Make sure it's flat. If it is stepped that might be your .001"

I checked the chamber and couldn't see anything, but will give it a good cleaning and recheck. I also made a dummy round using new hornady brass FL sized, trimmed and seated to specs and it chambered easily with no sign of resistance whatsoever. Is it possible the go gauge is slightly out of spec?

A go-no go gauge is alright, but on old C&R guns I pick up they also say to check the headspace, cause you can sometimes get a false reading.

Just got off the phone with Wayne. Cool guy, very helpful. He doesn't have the reamer either though....  :'(. But after talking with him and explaining the situation he suggested that as long as the rounds are completely chambering and the bolt locks up when applied with slow hand force it should be ok. If I were to purchase the finish reamer can the chamber be cut by hand drill/tap style or is that a lathe only operation?
