Glock's new slide finish SUX
« on: July 06, 2013, 12:50:24 PM »
For all you Glock fanatics (such as myself) who purchased Glocks recently.....you may have noticed that Glock switched slide finishes!  All I know is that the new finish is VERY prone to scratches  right out of the box.  The "rougher" looking finish IMO is very durable and is less prone to wear and tear!   :wtf: Glock!

2013 is the crappy finish and the 2012 finish is the more durable one

Mines were test fired in early 2013.

Put on a few scratches and holster wear, you won't care after a while.  At least it won't rust from the scratches.
