Potential T-shirt designs
« on: October 26, 2009, 07:21:08 PM »
There was a topic started over at the Hawaii Rifle Association's forums about how to get more gun owners involved in everything related to the right to keep and bear arms. Antithesis had suggested making shirts for people to wear.

I had the idea floating around my head for a while of making t-shirts and even had the idea for a logo. This is what it looks like.

It looks a little more touristy than I thought it would look but my co-worker thought it was good.

Tom_g came up with this one:

I just wanted to open this thread over here to get more people involved in the discussion just in case there are some that read here but don't read the HRA forums. Anyone have any comments?

Stickers would be great too.  How about using some Oleg Volk's pictures?

Hopefully, it's not bad form to post a link to the HRA forum.

Here's where this discussion once originated.

And here's where it crossed over, then died.

Not saying that those ideas are good or bad, just options for thought.

I've got some things up on my white board.  Hopefully staring at it long enough will give me a new direction, something cleaner.  I'm all about the elegance of simplicity this week!  :)

Crap... I meant to post it in the "New Logo" thread!  Oh, well... hopefully the discussion will continue, regardless of where!

You know how, sometimes when you stare at a bunch of pieces, you can feel a shape lurking just outside the edge of conscious thought?  I've got a bunch of 2's, II's, a's, A's, H's, Hawaii's, petroglyphs, crudely-drawn maps, and random squiggles on my work board, and I have that feeling while I stare at it.

Of course, sometimes a feeling is just a feeling.  No promises.
